FAQ
-
Is it caffeinated?
Yes — Chai of the Tiger is made with premium black tea, so it naturally contains caffeine. It gives you a gentle boost, perfect for mornings or a mid-day pick-me-up.
-
How many cups per jar?
Our smaller 50 g jar makes around 10 cups, depending on how strong you brew it.
-
Storage tips
Keep your blend in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Always reseal the pouch or jar after use. Stored properly, the spices — including our cinnamon blossoms and black cardamom — will stay fresh and aromatic for at least 12 months.
-
Why do I sometimes see residue at the bottom?
Because Chai of the Tiger is authentic and hand-ground, with no additives or filler ingredients, some natural spice residue can settle at the bottom of your cup. This is completely normal! Just froth or stir well before serving to enjoy the full flavour and aroma. -
Can I brew decaf?
This blend contains real black tea, so it isn’t caffeine-free. If you’d like to enjoy it without caffeine, you can try:
-
-
Steeping it shorter for a lighter brew
-
Mixing it with decaf black tea or rooibos at home
-
Using it in cooking and baking recipes for the spice flavor without brewing
